Testnet demo on Whitechain Sepolia: test tokens (ITC) only, no real money. Requests are served by a real open-weight model on the founder's machine when it is online, otherwise by a demo seller that returns canned responses.
Inferit

Inferit documentation

Inferit is a marketplace for LLM inference. Buyers call one OpenAI-compatible endpoint; each request goes to the cheapest healthy seller offer for that model, and usage settles from an escrow the buyer controls.

Core concepts

  • All-in prices. Every price on the site and in the API is what the buyer pays: the seller's price plus the platform fee (default 5%, charged as a buyer markup). Sellers earn exactly their own price.
  • Integer micro-units. Money is counted in millionths of a unit as integers end to end. Prices are quoted in $ per 1M tokens so they compare with list prices; on the testnet they are paid in ITC, which counts as one test dollar and has no monetary value, so balances, costs and earnings read in ITC. JSON carries amounts as decimal strings, e.g. "1500000" = 1.50 ITC on the testnet. A request costs ceil(tokens × pricePerM / 1,000,000).
  • Settlement. Usage settles on Whitechain, in the MarketEscrow contract, in ITC (Inferit Test Credit) on testnet. An off-chain credit ledger exists only for local development and tests.
  • Or no key at all. Agents can pay each request with x402 instead: the payment settles into the same escrow, credited to the agent's wallet. See Pay per request with x402.
  • Keys. Buyer keys start with ik_. They are stored as peppered SHA-256 hashes and shown once. Each key can carry a spend limit and a minimum discount.
  • Routing. Offers are filtered (model, healthy, daily cap, your minimum discount, your max price) and sorted by estimated cost. If an offer fails before the first byte, the next one is tried; nothing is retried after content has started streaming.

Status

This is testnet software built on Whitechain. Settlement uses a test token with no value, the contracts are unaudited, and the Anthropic-compatible endpoint is not shipped yet. Security & trust lists what is and is not verified.
